Titre : Advanced Guide to Python 3 Programming Type de document : texte imprimé Auteurs : John Hunt, Auteur Mention d'édition : second edition Editeur : SWIZERLAND : Springer Année de publication : 2023 Collection : Undergraduate Topics in Computer Science Importance : 658p. Présentation : couv:ill. Format : 30cm ISBN/ISSN/EAN : 978-3-031-40335-4 Langues : Anglais (eng) Catégories : 004 Informatique. Science et technologie de l'informatique.:004.4 Logiciel. Programme Index. décimale : 004.4 Logiciel. Programme Résumé : Advanced Guide to Python 3 Programming 2nd Edition delves deeply into a host of subjects that you need to understand if you are to develop sophisticated real-world programs. Each topic is preceded by an introduction followed by more advanced topics, along with numerous examples, that take you to an advanced level.
This second edition has been significantly updated with two new sections on advanced Python language concepts and data analytics and machine learning. The GUI chapters have been rewritten to use the Tkinter UI library and a chapter on performance monitoring and profiling has been added. In total there are 18 new chapters, and all remaining chapters have been updated for the latest version of Python as well as for any of the libraries they use.
There are eleven sections within the book covering Python Language Concepts, Computer Graphics (including GUIs), Games, Testing, File Input and Output, Databases Access, Logging, Concurrency andParallelism, Reactive Programming, Networking and Data Analytics. Each section is self-contained and can either be read on its own or as part of the book as a whole. It is aimed at those who have learnt the basics of the Python 3 language but wish to delve deeper into Python’s eco system of additional libraries and modules.Advanced Guide to Python 3 Programming [texte imprimé] / John Hunt, Auteur . - second edition . - SWIZERLAND : Springer, 2023 . - 658p. : couv:ill. ; 30cm. - (Undergraduate Topics in Computer Science) .

Titre : An Introduction to Infinite Products Type de document : texte imprimé Auteurs : Charles H.C. Little, Auteur ; Kee L. Teo, Auteur ; Bruce van Brunt, Auteur Editeur : SWIZERLAND : Springer Année de publication : 2022 Collection : Spinger Undergraduate Mathematics Series Importance : 251p. Présentation : couv.coul. Format : 25 cm ISBN/ISSN/EAN : 978-3-030-90645-0 Langues : Français (fre) Catégories : 51 Mathématiques :517 Analyse mathématique Tags : Infinite producte the gamma function prime number partition and product epilogue Index. décimale : 517.5 Théorie des fonctions Résumé : This text provides a detailed presentation of the main results for infinite products, as well as several applications. The target readership is a student familiar with the basics of real analysis of a single variable and a first course in complex analysis up to and including the calculus of residues. The book provides a detailed treatment of the main theoretical results and applications with a goal of providing the reader with a short introduction and motivation for present and future study. While the coverage does not include an exhaustive compilation of results, the reader will be armed with an understanding of infinite products within the course of more advanced studies, and, inspired by the sheer beauty of the mathematics. The book will serve as a reference for students of mathematics, physics and engineering, at the level of senior undergraduate or beginning graduate level, who want to know more about infinite products. It will also be of interest to instructors who teach courses that involve infinite products as well as mathematicians who wish to dive deeper into the subject. One could certainly design a special-topics class based on this book for undergraduates. The exercises give the reader a good opportunity to test their understanding of each section. Titre : Introduction to Quantum Groups Type de document : texte imprimé Auteurs : Teo Banica Editeur : SWIZERLAND : Springer Année de publication : 2022 Importance : 425P Présentation : Hardcover.ILL Format : 15.6 x 2.39 x 23.39 cm ISBN/ISSN/EAN : 978-3-031-23816-1 Langues : Anglais (eng) Langues originales : Anglais (eng) Résumé : This book introduces the reader to quantum groups, focusing on the simplest ones, namely the closed subgroups of the free unitary group.
Although such quantum groups are quite easy to understand mathematically, interesting examples abound, including all classical Lie groups, their free versions, half-liberations, other intermediate liberations, anticommutation twists, the duals of finitely generated discrete groups, quantum permutation groups, quantum reflection groups, quantum symmetry groups of finite graphs, and more.
The book is written in textbook style, with its contents roughly covering a one-year graduate course. Besides exercises, the author has included many remarks, comments and pieces of advice with the lone reader in mind. The prerequisites are basic algebra, analysis and probability, and a certain familiarity with complex analysis and measure theory. Organized in four parts, the book begins with the foundations of the theory, due to Woronowicz, comprising axioms, Haar measure, Peter–Weyl theory, Tannakian duality and basic Brauer theorems. The core of the book, its second and third parts, focus on the main examples, first in the continuous case, and then in the discrete case. The fourth and last part is an introduction to selected research topics, such as toral subgroups, homogeneous spaces and matrix models.
Introduction to Quantum Groups offers a compelling introduction to quantum groups, from the simplest examples to research level topics.Introduction to Quantum Groups [texte imprimé] / Teo Banica . - SWIZERLAND : Springer, 2022 . - 425P : Hardcover.ILL ; 15.6 x 2.39 x 23.39 cm.
