Titre : Applying Cognitive Behavioural Therapeutic Approaches in Sport Type de document : texte imprimé Auteurs : martin turner, Auteur Editeur : routledge Année de publication : 2023 Importance : 164 p. Présentation : couv ill Format : 32cm ISBN/ISSN/EAN : 978-0-367-75432-7 Langues : Anglais (eng) Langues originales : Anglais (eng) Catégories : 159.9.01 théories.lois.psychologie métaphysique.psychologie rationelle Mots-clés : cognitive-behavioural therapies psychotherapists Index. décimale : 159.9.01 Résumé : Cognitive-behavioural therapies (CBTs) are foundational to sport psychology. The majority of the psychological techniques employed by sport psychologists in their work with athletes stem from CBTs. However, there is a knowledge gap concerning what CBTs are and how the different types of CBTs can be applied in sport. This knowledge gap is important to fill, because CBTs are highly effective and are easily integrated into the sport setting, and thus practitioners should be aware of, if not trained in, such approaches.
Applying Cognitive Behavioural Therapeutic Approaches in Sport is the first dedicated volume to bring together the dominant cognitive-behavioural approaches to sport psychology. This book includes state-of-the-art evidence regarding the theory and practice of CBTs in sport, produced by academic and applied leaders in the area. Chapters include key historical and theoretical information about the CBTs and intricate details as to how a range of CBTs are applied in the real world of sport. Also, in each chapter, authors will cover historical and contemporary literature, and offer a hypothetical applied case study that details how the approach is applied in sport.
Practitioners (sport psychologists; psychotherapists), trainees, and students (undergraduate, and post-graduate) will for the first time receive an in-depth and sport-specific resource that includes a range of CBTs, making this book one of a kind.Applying Cognitive Behavioural Therapeutic Approaches in Sport [texte imprimé] / martin turner, Auteur . - routledge, 2023 . - 164 p. : couv ill ; 32cm.

Titre : Data Analytics in Football : Positional Data Collection Modelling and Analysis Type de document : texte imprimé Auteurs : daniel memmert, Auteur Editeur : routledge Année de publication : 2024 Importance : 176 p. Présentation : couv ill Format : 24cm ISBN/ISSN/EAN : 978-1-03-253247-9 Langues : Anglais (eng) Langues originales : Anglais (eng) Catégories : 796.3 jeux de balle Mots-clés : match analysis Data Analytics Football Index. décimale : 796.3 Résumé : Data Analytics in Football provides students, researchers, and coaches with a firm grounding in the principles of modern performance analysis. It offers an insight into the use of positional data, exploring how they can be collected, modeled, analyzed, and interpreted. Introducing cutting-edge methods, the book challenges long-held assumptions and encourages a new way of thinking about football analysis. The book seeks to define the role of positional data in football match analysis by exploring topics such as the following:
What is positional data analysis, and how did it emerge from conventional match analysis?
How can positional data be collected, and which technologies can be used?
What key performance indicators based on positional data should be used?
How can traditional match analysis be complemented by using positional data and advanced KPIs?
How can these new methods evolve in the future?
Based on data collected from active leagues and fully revised for the new second edition, the text now also examines data collection in relation to other sports, how a data-driven approach in decision-making is achieved by professional teams, the potential of the new methods of data collection, and how they could evolve in the future.
Accessibly written, packed full of examples from elite football, and supplemented with expert interviews, Data Analytics in Football is a thought-provoking, rigorously evidence-based guide to the use of data analytics in football performance analysis. As such, it is a vital resource for any student, researcher, or coach interested in performance analysis and skill acquisition, or anyone interested in football more generally.Data Analytics in Football : Positional Data Collection Modelling and Analysis [texte imprimé] / daniel memmert, Auteur . - routledge, 2024 . - 176 p. : couv ill ; 24cm.
